Dear friends,
Today, August 14, we celebrate 5 years since Frozen Light active work started! More or less Frozen Light exists since 2006, but until 2011 the label was mostly in suspended animation. Those troubled times have brought to the public only one disk… Well, it makes no matter. Starting from August 14, 2011 the label work became more or less constant!
And we want to say thank you to all who follow us, who helps us and who listens to us. It’s all about you!
Anniversaries make us to sum up something…
So, some statistics.
By this time 43 releases are out (4 digital-only ones were not counted). The total number of copies issued is 8504pcs! 13 releases were CDrs, the rest – factory-pressed CDs.
Most of our artists are from Russia. The second place goes to France. Aslo Germany, Poland, Ukraine and Latvia are among leaders.
Our most “frequent” artist is Moscow-based poet and musician Sergey Geichenko. He is noted at 8 disks. The second place – French (again) musician Hangsvart participating in 5 releases including two double albums. There’s no other artist at Frozen Light with 2CD issues.
Another interesting fact is that the most common name among our artists is Sergey. They are: Sergey Geychenko, Sergey Suhovic (Exit In Grey & Ion & Sophus), Sergey Ilchuk (SIYANIE), Sergiy Gordiuk (Moloch) and Sergey Andrievsky (Aurum Solis).
We wanted to cite many facts from packaging, CD errors, musical styles and the number of girls on the covers, but decided not to do this.
We decided thank the labels we work productively (including joint releases). They are E.S. (MFL-Records), M.M. (Zhelezobeton), Denis (Silent Time Noise), Dmitriy (MoonSun) и Alexei (Symbol Of Domination). Also we say thank you to Nikolay(Dominion Of Sin), Nikita (Infinite Fog), Justin (Cold Spring), Stu (Aesthetic Death), Alexander (Valgriind), Sergey (Nihil Art), Sascha (Attenuation Circuit), Shota (Zero Dimentional Records), Arthur (Arsenic Solaris), Iason (1000+1 TiLt), Marko (Xernex) и Džiugas (Autarkeia),and many others!

Сегодня, 14 августа, исполняется 5 лет с даты начала активной работы нашего лейбла! Так или иначе Frozen Light существует с 2006 года, однако до 2011-го лейбл был, в общем, в анабиозе. Те смутные времена донесли до широкой общественности всего один диск… Ну, не важно. Важно, что с 14 августа 2011 года работа лейбла стала более-менее постоянной!
И мы хотим сказать спасибо всем, кто следит за нами, кто помогает нам и кто слушает нас. Это всё – для вас!
К более-менее круглым датам принято подводить итоги…
За это время было выпущено 43 издания (4 полностью цифровых не считаем) общим тиражом 8504 шт. 13 изданий – в формате CDr, остальные – CD фабричного производства.
Основное количество выпускаемых артистов из России, на втором месте – Франция. В лидерах также Германия, Польша, Украина, Латвия.
Самый наш «частый» артист – московский поэт и музыкант Сергей Гейченко, отметившийся на 8 дисках. На втором месте – французский музыкант Hangsvart, участвовавший в 5 изданиях. Что интересно, два из них – двойные альбомы. Больше таких у нас нет ни у одного исполнителя.
Что ещё интересно, так это то, что самое распространённое имя среди наших исполнителей – Сергей. Это: Сергей Гейченко, Сергей Суховик (Exit In Grey и Ion & Sophus), Сергей Ильчук (SIYANIE), Сергий Гордиюк (Moloch) и Сергей Андриевских (Aurum Solis).
Мы думали привести ещё массу фактов из жизни упаковки, ошибок на дисках, музыкальных стилей и количества девушек на обложках, но передумали.
Вместо этого мы бы хотели отдельно поблагодарить лейблы, с которыми мы плодотворно работаем (в т.ч. посредством совместных изданий). Это – E.S. P.S. Было довольно трудно вместить в одно фото все издания Frozen Light, а также сублейбла Outer Line и диски из официальной дистрибуции… Но мы попробовали.
